Staying hydrated is essential to maintain a strong immune system, something that we all want, especially about the COVID-19 epidemic. Dr. Jyothi Tirumaslasetty, assistant professor of medicine at UCLA Health in the department of clinical immunology and allergy said, “Water is vital for the functioning of all your organs, and it’s a huge part of keeping your immune system functioning at an optimal level.” She continues, “We are made of [approximately 70%] water.
